Primary School
There are three main distinctions for St Peter’s Catholic School.
- We cater for students from Years 1-8 – the only full primary school in Cambridge.
- We provide a Catholic Education.
- We are a smaller sized school in the centre of town.
Our maximum roll is 250 so we will always know all the families and have a very connected community. Distinctive features of our school are our strong arts provision and our senior student leadership opportunities as Year 7 and 8 become role models and take on service both in school and beyond.
St Peter’s Catholic does not have an enrolment zone, and the special character of our school welcomes students from Catholic and non-Catholic backgrounds.

CAtholic Women’s League
All ladies of the Parish are welcome to attend our meetings. We meet on the first Wednesday of each month at 10am in the Parish lounge including guest speakers, sales tables and raffles, followed by a shared lunch. We offer funeral catering in the Lounge at $6 per head.

St Vincent de paul
The message of Jesus is that the kingdom of God is for the poor. The kingdom, God’s power which is love, comes to be when people experience that love.
Wherever the poor are treated with justice and charity, wherever an oppressive situation is made more human, there is the presence of God. This is God acting to bring salvation by transforming the world.
St Vincent de Paul is a committee of seven people who are dedicated to helping others in need. Whether it be in the form of food parcels, visiting sick or elderly or lonely, or helping out families in financial difficulties with school fees, clothing etc. Young Vinnies are Year 7 & 8 from St Peter’s Catholic Primary school who run food drives and small fundraisers to contribute also. We always welcome new faces, we meet on the first Tuesday of the month at 6pm. Bring your compassion and energy.
